Disease Process & The Autoimmune Response- Protomorphogens

Ever Google autoimmune? I just did…9/16/2013 10:39 am. About 10,900,000 results (0.15 seconds). Staggering, isn’t it?

When I went to update this article, I decided to do new "googling" stats. I never imagined that autoimmune disease searches and content would multiply by 25 times in just 9 years. But that is the alarming rate that Americans are being diagnosed with autoimmune conditions. By now, we all have a friend or relative that has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder.

The medical research world is discovering that nearly every disease process has an autoimmune component to it. Also, based on this autoimmune research “they” are realizing that this autoimmune response may be an early predictor of the cancer process in the body.

How Common Are Autoimmune Diseases?

“Overall, autoimmune diseases are common, affecting more
than 23.5 million Americans. They are a leading cause of
death and disability.” *(source) www.womenshealth.gov/publications/our-publications/fact-sheet/autoimmune-Diseases.cfm

What Is The Autoimmune Process?

Autoimmune diseases arise from an inappropriate immune response of the body against substances and tissues normally present in the body (autoimmunity). This may be restricted to certain organs (e.g. in autoimmune thyroiditis) or involve a particular tissue in different places (e.g. Goodpasture’s disease which may affect the basement membrane in both the lung and the kidney).

toxic medications

The treatment of autoimmune diseases is typical with immunosuppression— a medication that decreases the immune response. A large number of autoimmune diseases are recognized. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autoimmune_disease

What Happens At The Start Of The Autoimmune Disorder?

Here is what happens in the autoimmune process; there is tissue cell damage,  caused by any of the following: trauma, starvation of the cells, dehydration, poisons, inflammation, and/or hormone imbalances. This creates cell death and this cell death is so abundant that it overwhelms the reticuloendothelial system (immune system’s) ability to dispose of dead cells.

So, now you have these undesirable proteins in the blood, they are now auto-antigens. The body can not have unwanted proteins (genetic code DNA) in the blood for example: we can not have mammary (breast) DNA infiltrating the eye and making an eye-breast, so the body makes antibodies to the mammary DNA which now become a histamine for the liver to dispose of, and the antibodies now follow the trail to the organ that is under assault and attacks the organ. As a result, there is more inflammation and tissue destruction.

Understand that the body is doing what it was designed by God to do. To keep foreign proteins out of the blood. So, how do we stop the body from attacking its own tissues?

Dr. Royal Lee understood the autoimmune process in the 1940’s. Dr. Lee wrote Protomorphology in 1949 and it was quickly condemned by the FDA (which may have proven its validity). Dr. Lee described the autoimmune process and understood that is a person with an autoimmune disease like Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis (the first autoimmune disease detected) would take, in pill form the DNA of a thyroid cell would give the thyroid a chance to heal provided that the proper nutritional building blocks are present.

Dr. Royal Lee Protomorphagens PMG

He noted that the DNA of ANY MAMMAL would act as a decoy, thereby attracting the immune systems anti-bodies from the thyroid, and drawing the attack away from the thyroid. Doctors, at the time, had been experimenting with injecting the DNA but that proved to be fatal for the patient. The Oral ingestion worked well since the DNA never reached the blood system, the antibodies neutralize the DNA at the Peyer’s Patches of the small intestines.

With the immune assault distracted by the Protomorphogen (DNA) the person now must eat the nutrition needed to provide healing for the tissues so that the cell death can cease and normal cell death and removal can occur.

Here is one study making the connection between autoimmune response and ADHD in the Journal Attention Disorders

Comorbidity of Allergic and Autoimmune Diseases Among Patients With ADHD: A Nationwide Population-Based Study

Abstract
Objective: Patients with ADHD have been suggested to have increased risks of allergic diseases but without consistent results and limited studies about the association between ADHD and autoimmune diseases were noted in the literature. Method: Utilizing the Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database, ADHD patients were identified and compared with age- and gender-matched controls (1:4). Results: In all, 8,201 participants were identified as having ADHD, and an increased prevalence of allergic diseases, including asthma (odds ratio [OR] = 1.53), allergic rhinitis (OR = 1.59), atopic
dermatitis (OR = 1.53), and urticaria (OR = 1.39), compared with the control group. Although the comorbidity of autoimmune diseases with ADHD was low, ADHD patients had a significantly greater prevalence of ankylosing spondylitis (OR = 2.78), ulcerative colitis (OR = 2.31), and autoimmune thyroid disease (OR = 2.53) than the controls. Conclusion: Our results supported the association between ADHD and allergic/autoimmune diseases. The further studies will be required to clarify the underlying mechanisms. (J. of Att. Dis. 2013; XX(X) 1-XX)

Here is the abstract of an article about lung cancer and autoantibody testing

Clinical validation of an autoantibody test for lung cancer

Annals of Oncology 22: 383–389, 2011
doi:10.1093/annonc/mdq361
Published online 30 July 2010

Results: The autoantibody panel demonstrated a sensitivity/specificity of 36%/91%, 39%/89% and 37%/90% in groups 1, 2 and 3, respectively, with good reproducibility. There was no significant difference between different LC
stages, indicating that the antigens included covered the different types of LC well. Conclusion: This assay confirms the value of an autoantibody panel as a diagnostic tool and offers a potential system for monitoring patients at high risk of LC.

And of course, there are many more research projects involving this autoimmune response and diseases.

autoimmune history

Dr. Royal Lee was light years ahead of medical research and Standard Process is the only supplement company that provides the DNA in a supplement form to assist the body in the relieving the autoimmune process on the body. Standard Process is one of the only companies to provide true whole food concentrates to support the feeding of the body and tissues, with organically farmed vegetables.
